Where to fit Roman Blinds?
Roman blinds are a beautiful soft cloth product, suitable for most spaces. They look best in bedrooms, living rooms & dining rooms. We also have fabrics selected for children’s bedrooms, including jungle prints & alphabet prints. Pair all this with our blackout lining for a perfect aid to a restful night’s sleep.
Due to the fact roman blinds are made with soft cloths, they absorb moisture which is why we recommend dry rooms to keep them clean. We have numerous examples of customers fitting them in bathrooms & images of these can be found on our Instagram account
Control Options for a Roman Blind?
Our Roman Blinds are raised and lowered using a side control chain. This can be fitted on either side of the head rail. We also have an option for a chrome control chain with most of our Roman Blinds.
All our control chains are completely child-safe
and will be supplied with a P-clip to fasten the chain. We also supply a chain with breakaway clips that will come apart when subjected to increased weight or tension (the breakaway clips are supplied for longer chains only).
Lining options for a Roman Blind?
Standard Lining is a light filtering sateen lining, perfect if you don’t want to completely block out the light. This works well in rooms where you would still like to let the light filter in. For example, the living room, dining room or hallways.
Blackout Lining will completely block the light from coming through the fabric. We offer a free upgrade to blackout lining on a lot of our fabric collections.
Interlined Thermal Blackout Lining will completely block light from coming through the fabric. This also has a third layer of fabric which helps to better insulate the room. It provides a thicker, more luxurious looking finish when the blind is hung.
